Dick's Picks
I'm starting volume 18 (of The Grateful Dead's Dick's Picks). Officially halfway. I find whole sets to be either hit or miss. There are 2,318 total live shows by them, and apparently Dick had access to all the tapes and picked the best 1.5%. The variance between good/bad seems pretty radical (ie: one show might have a bad keys mix and that ruins the whole thing). Maybe Dick is not the ultimate authority on Live Dead.
